"There is no promotion after Jerusalem". This, of course, refers to
the unique spirit of camaradie which exists in the Palestine Police Old
Comrades Association. In practice, Palestine was the training ground for many
policemen who reached the highest ranks in the Police Forces of many other
Territories including the United Kingdom.
Members of the Palestine Police Old Comrades Association place great
significance on "THE TIE".
This is a necktie in the Force colours and all members of the Palestine
Police Old Comrades Association are expected to be in possession of such a tie
or some similar item of apparel which will identify them as having served in
the finest body of men the Colonial Service has ever known - The Palestine
Police.
